Inter Milan has officially announced its first signing for the upcoming season. The club issued a statement confirming the arrival of Petar Sucic, a midfielder born in 2003, from Dinamo Zagreb.
Describing their new player, Inter highlighted his qualities: “A midfielder with great vision, technique, and versatility, Petar can play in various midfield positions.”
Petar is the cousin of Luka Sučić, who plays for Real Sociedad, and becomes the eighth Croatian player in Inter`s history. He follows the same path from Dinamo Zagreb to Inter previously taken by midfielders Mateo Kovačić and Marcelo Brozović, key players for the Croatian national team that has reached the World Cup podium twice.
The statement concludes: “Petar Sučić`s Nerazzurri adventure begins now: a new chapter ready to be written as part of a dream that has become reality.”
