According to reports, the arrival of coach Tudor has had a significant positive impact on Argentinian player Nico Gonzalez, who is now impressing for Juventus. The club hopes to see a return on their 33 million investment in the Argentinian.

Tudor`s influence has revitalized Gonzalez. He has stepped up his game and aims to surpass his fellow Argentinian compatriot in performance in the remaining matches of the season. Tudor seems to have found the right approach with Gonzalez, who has shown remarkable improvement regardless of his position, whether as a right wing-back against Genoa or as a playmaker against Roma.

While his average rating might not fully reflect it (5.39 under Thiago Motta, improving to 6.5 with Tudor), the change in the 27-year-old South American`s dynamism is evident. A break and a change of coach were all it took to reignite hope at Continassa, Juventus` training center.

“Nico is a winner, I have always admired him from afar, and now I am happy to coach him: he is giving his all,” commented the Croatian coach after the match at the Olimpico stadium. The statistics support this observation. Gonzalez has doubled his average of successful tackles (from 0.5 under Motta to 1 per game with Tudor), improved his successful passes (from an average of 15 per game to 25.5), and is generally taking more shots from outside the box.
