Pirlo: Khedira situation to be resolved in the next days

Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo talked to the media today, ahead of the Bianconeri’s second game of the season, against Roma.

“We had a good training week, better than the last week: we’re increasing the loads and the guys are working well.”

On the Center Forward situation: “We were waiting for the center forward and he arrived this week, we had little time to work with him but in my head I thought a long time about how to put the players in the best conditions.”

On Morata joining the team: “Morata wasn’t the third choice but a player with the characteristics we were looking for. We know him well and we know he can play well with the others.”

Dybala? “We will decide this afternoon whether to bring him with us or leave him here to do more work.”

Pellegrini? “We talked with him and it seemed better to loan him out to play, especially that the Euros are at the end of the season. He wouldn’t have got as much playing time as he needed here.”

De Sciglio? “He’s available, just like he was last week.”

On the Khedira situation: “We talked with Khedira to understand what might be the best solution for both of us… Hopefully we will resolve the situation in the next few days.”

Arthur? “Arthur had a good week of training, he comes from a long period of inactivity so obviously he will need sometime.”

On the Bernardeschi role: “I don’t see Bernardeschi as an attacking midfielder but rather as an attacking winger like Costa, I already talked about it with him.”

“Dzeko could have become a Juve player but the negotiation weren’t succesful, he’s a dangerous player.”

Ronaldo, Dybala, Morata and Kulusevski all together? “When everyone is available we will have time to find the best solution.”

On whether there will be any new arrivals: “The Mercato is still open and if there are any opportunities we will evaluate them.”

Turnover? “It seems weird to do that after only one game.”
