Khedira unlikely to leave Juventus

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira looks more and more unlikely to leave the Bianconeri this mercato.

Despite Pirlo’s words last Saturday, that Juve will try to resolve the player’s situation in the next few days, it looks like he still won’t give up on playing his chances and trying to convince Andrea.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Juve has increased their offer for Khedira to terminate his contract to €3M, which is almost 50% of his remaining salary with the club.

Reports from Sky Sport Italia suggest that Sami will not accept any indemnity that is less than €6M, his full remaining salary.

Khedira’s agent and brother is still in Torino negotiating the contract termination, but unless Juve gives up to the International German’s demands, it looks like he won’t be leaving any time soon.

Several media outlets suggested that If he stays, Sami Khedira will not see the pitch as Pirlo already let him know that he’s out of his plans.

Khedira might spend the season watching games from the stands or even being not called up at all, a situation similar to that of Mandzukic last season.
