Musiala Suffers Fractured Fibula and Ligament Damage, Out 4-5 Months

Jamal Musiala has sustained a fracture of the fibula in his left leg, in addition to ligament damage. This constitutes the initial diagnosis for the Bayern player`s injury, following a collision with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma towards the end of the first half during a Club World Cup quarter-final match.

The talented midfielder is anticipated to be sidelined for at least four months. However, Bayern Munich has indicated that they will only make an official announcement regarding the exact recovery timeline once more comprehensive examinations have been completed in Germany. Given the circumstances of the incident, there were initial concerns that the injury might be even more severe.

Musiala was transported to the hospital yesterday and is scheduled to return to Germany today for the detailed medical assessments. Numerous messages of support have been sent to the player, including one from Donnarumma himself, who was visibly affected by the incident.
