Milan, led by CEO Giorgio Furlani, recently met with Igli Tare, the Albanian executive with a long history at Lazio. Tare remains a top candidate for the sporting director position at Milan. According to reports, their initial meeting covered various topics, including the coaching situation. Three names are reportedly under consideration for the head coach role, with Massimiliano Allegri being a prominent option for a return.

Vincenzo Italiano is another coach being considered for the Milan job. Cesc Fabregas is also mentioned, but he is closely linked with Como.

Furlani intends to take his time in selecting the next sporting director, but the names already being discussed for the coaching position could influence Tare`s decision. Massimiliano Allegri is a well-known and highly experienced coach who knows the Italian league very well. He might be willing to return to Milan if the conditions are right.

Vincenzo Italiano`s situation is different. He is a highly regarded coach who is well-liked by Milan management. Furlani and Tare discussed Italiano because they appreciate him. Finding an agreement on the sporting director is the priority, and currently, Tare is the leading candidate. However, the Milan CEO wants to carefully consider all options before making a final decision.
