According to reports, a crucial meeting took place in Rome yesterday regarding the future of Milan. Rossoneri CEO Giorgio Furlani met with Igli Tare, former Lazio sporting director and now a strong candidate for the same role at Milan. The meeting lasted about three hours and, although it did not yet lead to the signing of a contract, it laid a solid foundation. The duration of the agreement remains to be defined: Tare is seeking a three-year deal, while the club would prefer to stop at two seasons. New talks are expected in the coming days, but the impression is that it is only a matter of time.
One of the key points of discussion was also the future Rossoneri coach. With Sergio Conceicao leaving, the most popular name is that of former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri, appreciated by both the CEO and the RedBird owner, Gerry Cardinale. Tare`s potential arrival would strengthen the candidacy of the coach from Livorno.
