“Playing on Saturday would have seemed strange with some teams playing and others not. Ultimately, they gain an extra day of rest after the Coppa Italia but lose one before facing Barcelona. Considering Barcelona`s absences and how they might play, this isn`t necessarily a significant disadvantage. Regardless, it`s become clear who is in charge of deciding match dates. As I`ve stated previously, it seemed absurd for Milan to play on Easter just to ensure they had the same number of rest days as others.”
