Inter President Giuseppe Marotta recently commented on key club matters, including the appointment of Cristian Chivu as coach and the team`s ongoing objectives.
Speaking on the sidelines of a book presentation titled “L’anima sociale e industriale dello Sport” by Vito Cozzoli in Milan, Marotta addressed the decision to bring the historic Inter name into a coaching role. “We are proud to have linked a historic Inter name to the coaching role,” Marotta stated. “I believe modern football clubs should cultivate this; the individual embodies many values necessary for achieving sporting goals. We are absolutely satisfied, proud, and happy.”
When asked about Inter`s objectives, Marotta`s response was clear: “The usual ones, as history shows. Inter participates in competitions to win. If others are better, we`ll tip our hat. But we must remember once again that reaching the top is not easy, and not everyone has achieved it consistently in recent years.”
