Speaking on `Radio CRC`, Marco Travaglio, the director of `Il Fatto Quotidiano`, talked about his Juventus support, which he admits has become somewhat `clouded` in recent years. He stated, “I used to know everything about football. I am a Juventus fan and was born into a family of Juventus supporters. I`ve stopped following football and empathizing with Juventus. I remain a Juventus fan, but I no longer watch the matches.”
He continued, “I know the basics and I know that they sacked one coach to bring in another, but I would need to have watched the games to give my opinion. I am not very knowledgeable about economics, but I wonder: how is it that these big foreign groups buy football clubs, but their balance sheets show losses, and instead of getting rid of them, they keep investing money and hold on tight?”
