Former German international Mahmoud Dahoud will leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.
The Frankfurt club has announced that the midfielder’s contract, which was originally set to run until June 30, 2026, will not be extended following a mutual agreement between both parties.
Dahoud had joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2024 from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, but he was unable to establish himself as a consistent starter for the team during his tenure.
«Mo always put the team first and consistently behaved professionally during his time with us,» stated sporting director Timmo Hardung.
Throughout his time at Eintracht, Dahoud made 30 competitive appearances, contributing two goals and two assists. His career saw him feature in two friendly matches for the German national team in 2020 before experiencing a period where his progress somewhat stalled.
