Speaking live on TMW Radio`s `Maracanà` show, former footballer Pasquale Luiso offered his perspective on Dusan Vlahovic`s situation at Juventus. Luiso stressed that resolving the Serbian striker`s future is the primary step required for the club to return to being competitive.
According to Luiso, it`s essential to determine whether Vlahovic will remain at Juventus or if the club needs to seek alternative players. He acknowledged the quality of other players like Yildiz and Sancho, noting their effectiveness in one-on-one situations, but reiterated that addressing the Vlahovic issue takes precedence for Juventus to regain its competitive edge.
Luiso expressed his personal admiration for Vlahovic but admitted uncertainty regarding the player`s standing with the club or the coach. He highlighted that given Vlahovic`s significant annual cost of €12 million, this situation must be clarified before any further transfer activity is seriously pursued.
Luiso believes Vlahovic needs to demonstrate strong character and a clear desire to rediscover his previous level of performance, showing determination and intensity. Commenting on Victor Osimhen, Luiso predicted the Nigerian forward would stay at Napoli rather than making a move to Juventus.
