Speaking on Radio Marte, Luca Marchetti offered his perspective on Antonio Conte. As reported by TuttoNapoli, Marchetti stated: “Antonio Conte is simply like that; he consistently demands the absolute maximum and always speaks his mind directly. I don`t believe this is a strategic approach; it`s just Antonio Conte being himself.”
Regarding the financial aspects of team building, Marchetti commented, “I am of the opinion that the potential sale of Victor Osimhen, combined with the revenue generated from qualifying for the Champions League, will be sufficient to meet Conte`s requirements. I have no doubt that his expectations concerning the composition of the squad are achievable within these means.”
Beyond just the players, Marchetti added, “I also believe Conte is keenly interested in the club`s infrastructure and its overall long-term growth.”
Addressing speculation about Conte`s future, Marchetti concluded, “This matter will naturally be discussed further in a calm manner with the club president and director. However, I don`t currently believe that he has made a decision to depart. While it`s true that a few things may not have unfolded precisely as he would have preferred, other aspects have indeed gone well, and the positive results achieved serve as evidence of this.”
