Former Lecce coach Fabio Liverani shared his thoughts on the Serie A title race and the battle for European spots in an interview. He believes Inter Milan were and remain the favorites for the Scudetto. Liverani suggests that Napoli, potentially under Antonio Conte, are the team most likely to challenge Inter, emphasizing that the title is in Inter`s hands to lose.
Regarding disappointments, Liverani pointed to Milan and Juventus. He stated that these teams, which began the season with high ambitions, have underperformed the most. Liverani concluded that it will be challenging for both clubs to salvage their season in the remaining nine matches.
