Following Parma`s victory over Juventus, young defender Giovanni Leoni spoke to Dazn about his performance and the team`s effort.
Asked how he managed to play with such maturity at just 18 years old in a significant match, Leoni responded, «I just did what I know how to do. Everything is always easier with the help of my teammates. We had prepared for this match for over a week, and I am incredibly proud of the team.»
Regarding the attention he might receive after his impressive game against Juventus, Leoni remained grounded. «I will continue to do what I`ve always done and train hard,» he stated. «The important thing is to secure our safety [in the league]. This was a fundamental match, earning us three crucial points, and we must continue like this for the final five games.»
