A crucial first meeting took place today at the Lega Pro headquarters, bringing together the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti clubs that achieved promotion to Serie C. This served as an important opportunity to establish plans and foundations for the upcoming season.
The clubs attending were Bra, Casarano, Dolomiti Bellunesi, Forlì, Guidonia Montecelio, Livorno, Ospitaletto, Sambenedettese, and Siracusa – teams set to step up into the professional football ranks. This gathering facilitated a closer connection with Lega Pro, covering key topics including the National Licensing System, current rules, competitive activity regulations, media rights, communication strategies, and marketing initiatives. The meeting was inaugurated by Matteo Marani, President of Lega Pro; Giancarlo Abete, President of LND; and Luigi Barbiero, Coordinator of the Interregional Department.
This event offered the nine clubs a comprehensive introduction to Serie C, allowing them to directly engage with Lega Pro officials. Lega Pro expressed its readiness to welcome these clubs, their communities, and their supporters into the league.
