Aymeric Laporte, the Spanish national team defender currently at Al Nassr with a contract valid until June 2026, is being considered as a potential defensive reinforcement for Juventus.
According to reports, the 1994-born player is keen to leave Saudi Arabia this summer with the aim of returning to Europe to play a significant role. Juventus` pursuit of the centre-back could face competition from Athletic Bilbao, his former club, who are also interested in his return.
Al Nassr is reportedly seeking a transfer fee of around 10 million euros for Laporte. Juventus is said to be prepared to meet this demand and offer the player a three-year contract worth approximately 5 million euros per season. While Laporte currently earns a significantly higher salary of 25 million euros annually in Saudi Arabia, he is understood to be aware that a comparable wage package is not feasible for a move back to Europe.
