His attempts at plays are failing, and Tudor himself acknowledged post-match: `He`s struggling, but we need to recover him.` How to do that? Possibly by giving him a bit of a break. This could mean starting him on the bench already against Roma to reduce pressure, because efforts must be made to get this player, in whom Juventus has invested heavily, back on track.”
“Next, we need to understand the alternative. Against Genoa, Conceicao came on for him, and this could be the primary option. Then there`s the intriguing idea, which Tudor might eventually consider, of a trident attack with Kolo Muani, Yildiz, and Vlahovic. This is also because Juventus hasn`t been scoring many goals lately and needs to rediscover important goals. It`s unlikely the trident will be deployed already against Roma, but I believe we`ll see it sooner or later. Juventus has scored only five goals in the last six games and needs to regain consistency upfront to secure a top-four finish and shift gears in attack.”
