`Karagounis:

Former Greece international and football legend Giorgos Karagounis recently shared his thoughts on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo during an interview with Spin Genie. While acknowledging the speculation around Ronaldo, Karagounis expressed a personal desire regarding the Portuguese star`s next move.

“I`m not sure if we`ll ever witness Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Wrexham, but I would personally enjoy seeing him come to Greece and play for Panathinaikos,” Karagounis stated. He elaborated, “Panathinaikos is a historically significant club, and while nobody knows what the future holds, Ronaldo is globally renowned, just as Panathinaikos is a famous name within Greece.”

Karagounis drew a parallel, noting, “He`s already worn the green jersey with Sporting CP in the past, so why not the green of Panathinaikos? It`s something I would genuinely love to see happen.”
