Juventus Women’s Coppa Italia Final Pre-Match Statistics

Juventus` official website has released an analysis of the pre-match statistics for the Women`s Coppa Italia final. The match will see Juventus Women compete against Roma this evening at the Stadio Senigallia in Como, with kick-off scheduled for 6:00 PM CEST.

GENERAL STATISTICS

Since the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, Juventus is the only team to have scored more than two headed goals, tallying three, courtesy of Emma Kullberg, Matilde Harviken, and Emma Stølen Godø. Roma is next with two headed goals, scored by Elena Linari and Alice Corelli.

Juventus and Roma are the only two sides in this Coppa Italia edition (from the quarter-finals onwards) that have more than one player with at least one goal and one assist: Alice Corelli (1 goal + 1 assist) and Manuela Giugliano (1 goal + 2 assists) for Roma; Barbara Bonansea (2 goals + 1 assist) and Sofia Cantore (1 goal + 1 assist) for Juventus.

Juventus leads Serie A 2024/25 for goals scored from set pieces (20), including six from indirect free kicks (a record shared with Lazio). Roma ranks third with 15 set piece goals and, along with Inter, is one of the two teams with the most goals resulting from corners (nine each).

Roma is the highest-scoring team in the current Coppa Italia campaign, having found the net 15 times, ahead of Juventus and Lazio (both on 13). Furthermore, among clubs that have played more than three matches in the 2024/25 tournament, Roma boasts the strongest defense, conceding just three goals in five matches, precisely half the number conceded by Juventus (six).

Since the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, Juventus is the only team with more than two players who have scored at least two goals: Amalie Vangsgaard, Barbara Bonansea, and Emma Kullberg (three players). For Roma during the same period, only Valentina Giacinti has achieved this.

PLAYER FOCUS

JUVENTUS WOMEN

No player has scored more goals for Juventus than Cristiana Girelli, both overall in the Coppa Italia (15, level with Barbara Bonansea) and specifically against Roma in this competition (two, level with Sara Gama).

Cristiana Girelli has scored 19 goals across all competitions this season (all in Serie A so far). She is on the verge of reaching the 20-goal mark for the fourth season with her current club, following impressive tallies in 20/21 (26), 21/22 (20), and 22/23 (25).

Barbara Bonansea has scored seven goals against Roma in all competitions, a tally surpassed only by Cristiana Girelli (12) among current Juventus players. Since the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, the forward born in 1991 leads the tournament in total shots (18) and is tied for the most shots on target (five, alongside Bonfantini, Piemonte, and Chmielinski).

Roma is Sofia Cantore`s most frequent scoring opponent for Juventus, with five goals against them to date (all in Serie A). The Giallorosse could become the third opponent, after Lazio and Tavagnacco, against whom she has scored in two different competitions while wearing the Bianconera shirt.

Amalie Vangsgaard is the only Juventus player this season with more than two goals in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia, having scored three in each. She also added one goal in Champions League qualifiers. Notably, five of her total goals have been scored away from home.

Since the beginning of March, only Cristiana Girelli (six) has scored more goals than Emma Stølen Godø (three) among Juventus players across all competitions. The Norwegian`s first goal for the club came precisely in the 1-0 second leg semi-final victory against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia.

Martina Rosucci has scored two goals against Roma for Juventus (both in Serie A). For the Bianconere, she has only scored more against Fiorentina (three) when considering all competitions. She also scored two goals against Orobica.

Two of the three players who have scored a brace or more since the Coppa Italia quarter-finals will face each other in this match: Emma Kullberg and Valentina Giacinti (both with two goals in a single match). Flaminia Simonetti is the third player.

Valentina Giacinti is the only Roma player to have scored at least one goal in all five competitions the club has competed in this season: Coppa Italia, Serie A, Supercoppa Italiana, Champions League, and Champions League Qualifiers. She has accumulated 13 goals in total, fewer only than Manuela Giugliano (16).
