OFFICIAL: DAMIEN COMOLLI IS THE NEW JUVENTUS DIRECTOR GENERAL. Juventus Football Club announced today, via its official website, that Damien Comolli has been appointed as the new Director General. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Maurizio Scanavino, with the role effective from June 4, 2025. Comolli will be responsible for the Football Area and the Revenue Area (Marketing and Commercial). Juventus stated: “Juventus Football Club S.p.A. (`Juventus` or the `Company`) announces that it has reached an agreement with Damien Comolli for his appointment as Director General, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Maurizio Scanavino, starting from June 4, 2025, with responsibilities in the Football Area and Revenue Area… Juventus welcomes Damien Comolli, who, from June 4, 2025, will join the Company assuming the role of Director General, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Maurizio Scanavino. A leader with consolidated international experience, Damien Comolli brings significant technical, managerial, and strategic expertise, gained over thirty years at the top levels of European football. He has held key roles at prestigious clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Fenerbahçe, and, most recently, Toulouse, where he led the club to promotion to Ligue 1 and victory in the Coupe de France. Damien Comolli will have responsibility for the Men`s Sports Area and the Marketing and Commercial Directorates. Giorgio Chiellini, a historical figure of the Company who has always embodied the values and spirit of Juventus, will report to him in the role of Director of Football Strategy. Earlier reports indicated Damien Comolli had signed his contract with Juventus, ahead of the official announcement.
