Football expert Ivano Trotta shared his insights on Juventus`s coaching situation in an interview. He believes Juventus will aim for a significant name to lead the team next season.
When asked about the impact of Tudor compared to Thiago Motta, Trotta suggested that while there might be slight changes, it`s still early to judge Tudor`s influence. He acknowledged a possible improvement in team spirit, mentioning Yildiz as a key player. However, Trotta doubts Tudor will remain the coach for the next season, anticipating Juventus will seek a high-profile manager, especially after what he considers a misjudgment in the previous coaching selection.
Regarding Antonio Conte potentially coaching Juventus, Trotta expressed uncertainty. He hopes Conte will continue with Napoli, praising it as a perfect fit for him. Trotta values Conte`s proven worth and believes with more experience and strategic additions, Napoli could become a major force both domestically and in Europe.
Discussing the Coppa Italia derby between Milan and Inter, Trotta noted Milan might have gained a slight advantage from the 1-1 draw due to higher motivation. However, he expects Inter to perform differently in the return leg and ultimately advance to the final. He also praised Bologna and their coach Italiano for their impressive season, highlighting Italiano`s consistent ability to instill a winning mentality and achieve results, even with teams not initially considered favorites.
Trotta also commented on Napoli`s player Billing, suggesting he would still sign him despite a less impactful recent game, seeing him as a valuable squad player. On Lukaku`s future with Napoli, Trotta advocated for bringing in another forward with different qualities to complement Lukaku and provide tactical flexibility, especially a player who can effectively attack space behind defenses.
