Juventus Shares Positive on April 25th

European financial markets concluded a week marked by gains. The Milan stock exchange stood out, primarily driven by a recovery in the banking sector.

European stock exchanges were generally positive. Milan led the gains, with its FTSE MIB index rising 1.47%, boosted by banking stocks. The FTSE MIB index finished today`s session up 1.47%. Madrid followed with a 1.33% increase. Frankfurt gained 0.81%, Paris rose 0.45%, while London closed just above parity with a modest 0.09% gain.

The positive market sentiment was supported by signs of easing trade tensions. Chinese authorities hinted at the possibility of removing tariffs on various US products, potentially paving the way for a broader agreement.

The spread between ten-year Italian and German government bonds stood at 110.5 basis points, a slight increase from the previous session`s 109.8. The yield on BTPs was 3.57%, while the Bund yield was 2.46%.

The euro/dollar exchange rate remained stable at 1.139. Gold saw a significant decline (-1.99%), falling to $3,282.3 per ounce. The price of Light Sweet Crude Oil remained unchanged at $62.9 per barrel.

Among the main stocks on the Italian list, Mediobanca surged by 6.61%, followed by Banca MPS (+4.64%), Iveco (+3.44%), and Pirelli (+3.38%). Unicredit (+2.7%) and Banco Bpm (+2.18%) also performed well. Bucking the trend were Campari (-2.21%), Inwit (-0.68%), and Amplifon (-0.67%).

In the mid-cap segment, Newlat Food (+5.90%) stood out, along with Caltagirone SpA (+4.39%), Fincantieri (+4.30%), and Banco di Desio e della Brianza (+4.01%). On the other hand, the largest losses were seen by The Italian Sea Group (-2.11%), followed by Comer Industries (-1.03%), Tamburi (-0.91%), and Sanlorenzo (-0.88%).

In the football sector, both Juventus (+1.35%) and Lazio (+1.41%) saw positive performance.
