Juventus Stock Soars: Positive Day for Stellantis and Ferrari

Milan's stock market experienced a positive trading session, mirroring the upward trend of major European exchanges. Declining oil prices and signals from the Federal Reserve regarding inflation management supported buying activity. The Ftse Mib index in Milan closed with a 0.8% advance.

European Markets Rise, London Gains 1.19%

London led the performance among major European financial centers, climbing 1.19% after the Bank of England maintained its interest rates. Frankfurt also saw gains, adding 0.7%, while Paris closed up 0.57%. The Italian bond market showed little movement; the Btp-Bund spread held steady at 86 basis points, and the yield on the 10-year Italian bond dipped by approximately two points to 4.338%.

Gold Up 2.37%, Oil Declines

The euro/dollar exchange rate remained largely unchanged at 1.148. Gold experienced a significant rise, gaining 2.37%. Conversely, oil prices fell, with Light Sweet Crude Oil down 1.28% to $101.1 per barrel.

Poste Italiane Up 3.40%, TIM and Fincantieri Perform Well

Among Milan's blue chips, Poste Italiane stood out, closing with a 3.40% increase. Telecom Italia also saw buying interest, rising 2.98%, and Fincantieri gained 2.40%. Stellantis had a positive day, adding 2.26%, while Ferrari finished the session 0.66% higher. On the downside, Campari registered the most significant drop among the listed stocks, losing 1.56%. Buzzi also declined by 0.91%, Tenaris by 0.77%, and Eni by 0.60%.

Danieli Soars 5.18% Among Mid-Caps

Danieli was a notable performer in the mid-capitalization segment, surging 5.18%. Sesa followed with a 3.79% gain, Technoprobe rose 3.50%, and Ascopiave increased by 3.20%. Selling pressure affected Pharmanutra, which fell 5.05%, and Ferragamo, down 3.96%. MFE B also saw a negative performance, dropping 3.21%.
