Juventus Eyes Zirkzee as Top Target, Sorloth a Late Window Possibility

Juventus continues to view the Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee as a highly attractive prospect. The player himself is reportedly keen on a move, and crucially, Ricky Massara, who has been tracking Zirkzee for some time, is strongly convinced of his potential. Furthermore, Manchester United has opened the door to discussions regarding Zirkzee's departure.

The key difference in negotiations might lie in the deal structure. While Atlético Madrid aims to generate immediate revenue for Alexander Sørloth, there's a possibility of structuring Zirkzee's transfer as a loan deal, though an agreement on the terms of any potential buy-out clause would still need to be reached.

Sorloth Could Emerge as a Last-Minute Opportunity

Consequently, Juventus can maintain Alexander Sørloth on their radar without necessarily making him their primary objective.

However, the transfer market in August can shift rapidly. If Atlético Madrid fails to find buyers at their asking price and decides to adjust their position, Sørloth could transform into a much more tangible opportunity.

From a technical standpoint, there are few doubts. Sørloth's physicality, presence in the box, aerial prowess, and goal-scoring ability are characteristics that would complement Luciano Spalletti's attacking lineup.

The current obstacle, at least for now, is the cost. At €40 million, Sørloth appears difficult to acquire. With different financial terms, Juventus would have ample reason to reconsider. However, at that specific price point, Juventus favors Zirkzee.
