What was missing today?
The match didn't go as we wanted. In terms of play, a draw would have been a fairer result. We reacted late today and weren't decisive enough in the final third. We need to improve our clinical finishing.
Were you tired after Saturday's final?
Playing 120 minutes didn't help, but we are used to playing every three days. Personally, it was felt, but we must adapt because we have many matches until Christmas.
Was clinical finishing lacking?
Our setup on the field was good, but we missed the final pass. We must work on this because in Europe, you don't get many chances, and if you miss some goals, you are punished immediately.
Are you disappointed by the low attendance at the Stadium?
Somewhat, yes, and I regret it. However, we are happy to have played here. It's always a pleasure to play at the Stadium, even though we had more spectators in the past. There was also the men's break. Perhaps some people prefer watching their matches. But we hope that with our play, we will attract more people to the Stadium for the next game against Leuven.
Does this style risk being ineffective in Europe?
A match has different phases. Perhaps at times, more direct play is needed. I believe a single approach cannot always work; we must find the right balance. Today, we tried to do that occasionally. But we are at the beginning of our journey; let's see what our coach tells us. We are making good progress, but we still seem to be missing something.
