Brahim Diaz Linked to Besiktas Amidst Real Madrid Competition

Besiktas is reportedly monitoring Brahim Diaz, whose opportunities at Real Madrid are becoming more limited due to increased competition. However, the Turkish club has not yet submitted a formal offer.

The future of Brahim Diaz at Real Madrid is once again the subject of transfer market speculation. The Moroccan attacker is said to have attracted the attention of Besiktas, who are keen to add quality and international experience to their offensive department. However, caution is advised, as despite rumors of a potential offer from Istanbul, the submission of an official bid has not yet been confirmed. Besiktas president Serdal Adalı had publicly denied any negotiations for the player on August 5th.

Competition Intensifies at Real Madrid

Brahim's position is further complicated by the new configuration of Real Madrid's attack. The arrivals of Bernardo Silva and Yan Diomande have increased the coach's options in a department that already includes players like Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler.

In the 4-2-3-1 formation used during pre-season, Brahim can play multiple roles: as an attacking midfielder, a right-sided player, or a left winger looking to cut inside. His versatility is one of his main strengths, but it doesn't guarantee him an automatic starting spot.

Nevertheless, the Moroccan is not in a marginal position. Real Madrid continues to utilize him, and the player has responded positively during preparation, even scoring the decisive goal against Deportivo La Coruña in the Teresa Herrera Trophy.

Besiktas Needs to Make a Concrete Move

Besiktas could offer him more prominence and a leading role, but their interest needs to translate into a concrete proposal. Following the denials from the Turkish management, a new contact will be necessary to open genuine negotiations with Real Madrid.

The player's stance will also be crucial. Leaving Madrid would mean foregoing the highest European stage, but it could allow him to find more consistent playing time and responsibility.

Contractually, Brahim is tied to Real until 2027, although there have been talks of an agreement to extend this until 2030. Any renewal would further strengthen the Spanish club's negotiating position.

Real Madrid is Not Rushing

The Madrid club does not appear to be under pressure to sell and will only consider offers deemed adequate. Increased competition might reduce Brahim's playing time, but a busy season with multiple commitments requires reliable alternatives in every position.

Brahim Diaz has long been linked with Juventus.
