Juventus Gears Up for FIFA Club World Cup Amidst Club Changes

According to Corriere di Torino, Juventus is set to begin preparations for the FIFA Club World Cup mission. Following a week of vacation, the team will return to training tomorrow to prepare for their trip to the United States, which will host the inaugural edition of the new FIFA tournament. The Bianconeri are scheduled to train at the Continassa sports center until June 14 before flying to the USA. There, they will compete in at least three group stage matches: against Al-Ain on June 19 (3:00 AM Italian time), Wydad Casablanca on June 22 (6:00 PM Italian time), and Manchester City on June 26 (9:00 PM Italian time). Despite the start of this significant tournament preparation, the current situation at the club is marked by several uncertainties.

While Igor Tudor will oversee training sessions starting tomorrow, his long-term position as Juventus coach for the next season remains uncertain. This is despite Champions League qualification having seemingly secured his role automatically. Recent reports indicate attempts, reportedly unsuccessful, were made to bring in Antonio Conte or Gian Piero Gasperini. The managerial landscape at the club is currently fluid, influenced by the recent departure of Cristiano Giuntoli and the arrival of Damien Comolli. Comolli, the former Toulouse president, is expected in Turin tomorrow for the official commencement of his role, but he is already actively working alongside Giorgio Chiellini, evidenced by their meeting with John Elkann in Munich yesterday.
