Juventus Explores Options for Vlahovic Amid Free Agency Plans

`Gazzetta

According to reports in the Italian newspaper Gazzetta, Juventus is actively seeking a solution regarding the future of striker Dusan Vlahovic. The player is reportedly set on leaving the club as a free agent in July 2026, following another season where he would earn a significant salary of €12 million.

To avoid losing him for free, the Bianconeri are exploring various options. These include considering a discounted sale, with valuations starting from €25-30 million – less than half the amount paid for him. Another possibility being evaluated is a one-year `bridge` contract extension, which could potentially facilitate a loan move aimed at helping the former Fiorentina striker rediscover his form.

AC Milan is said to be observing the situation closely. Despite a perceived drop in head coach Igor Tudor`s pecking order during the recent US tour (starting only one out of four matches), Vlahovic`s stance on his contract and future apparently remains unchanged.

The 25-year-old forward recently departed for his holidays, reportedly telling teammates he would see them at the end of the month. However, he is still focused on his plan to leave in 2026 upon contract expiry. Vlahovic`s priorities for his next move involve maintaining his current technical level and economic status, which is why potential transfers to Saudi Arabia or Turkey have not appealed to him so far.

Juventus director Comolli is scheduled to meet with Vlahovic`s entourage in Turin sometime this week. The purpose of this meeting is to get an update and attempt to find a compromise that could alter Vlahovic`s current plans.
