According to Gazzetta, Juventus wants to avoid a repeat of the Huijsen situation. The club is keen on not risking turning a potential asset into a regret, as happened with Dean Huijsen, another talent from the Next Gen program. The defender was sold last summer to Bournemouth for €15.2 million plus €3 million in bonuses, partly because he wasn`t favored by Thiago Motta, and also due to financial considerations. Now, he has made his debut for Spain`s national team, and top clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea are reportedly ready to invest €50 million to acquire him.
