In an interview with `TMW`, Robert Jarni, former Juventus player and compatriot of Igor Tudor, spoke about the Croatian coach`s arrival at Juventus. Jarni stated, “Let`s be clear, it won`t be easy for Tudor at Juventus, it wouldn`t be for anyone. Juventus is going through a very complicated period, there will be little time to work, and expectations are very high. However, despite this, I believe Igor is the right man. He has what it takes to cure Juventus`s ailments: character, personality, leadership, charisma, and determination. After all his experiences around Europe, he also seems more tactically prepared now.”
When asked if Juventus can reach the Champions League with Tudor, Jarni responded, “I cannot make predictions. The Italian league is too complicated, and Juventus is not in the best condition right now. However, this version of Tudor has overcome past issues and seems ready for a job like this.”
Regarding Vlahovic`s central role in Tudor`s project, Jarni commented, “In Croatia, we are all wondering why Thiago Motta treated him the way he did. Something must have happened off the field. For Tudor`s Juventus, Vlahovic`s goals will be essential, like bread and butter, to reach the Champions League.”
