Jamal Musiala Returns to Bayern Training Amidst World Cup Plans

Munich – FC Bayern Munich has shared encouraging news regarding young talent Jamal Musiala. The attacking midfielder has resumed individual training after a brief hiatus caused by a painful reaction in his left ankle, an injury he had previously sustained last summer.

The German record champions confirmed on Thursday that Musiala, aged 21, completed his first individual session with the ball at the club’s training ground on Säbener Straße. This marks a positive step in his recovery process.

Due to this physical discomfort, Musiala was not included in Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for the upcoming international friendlies this World Cup year. While the German national team is set to face Switzerland in Basel on Friday and then Ghana in Stuttgart three days later, Musiala is focusing on regaining full fitness.

Despite his current absence from international duty, national coach Nagelsmann has firm plans for Musiala to be a key part of the squad for the upcoming World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada, scheduled from June 11 to July 19. Nagelsmann is expected to announce his provisional World Cup squad in the second week of May, with the final 26-player roster due to FIFA in early June.
