Inter's Transfer Target: Curtis Jones - Liverpool's Firm Stance and Inter's Need for Sales

August 10, 2026Diego Herrera1 мин

Curtis Jones continues to be a primary transfer target for Inter Milan. Both Chivu and the Nerazzurri's management have desired the English player since last winter, when Inter made every effort to bring him to Italy during the January transfer window. Despite his contract having only one year remaining, Liverpool is unwilling to lower their initial asking price of 40 million euros.

To facilitate a move for Jones, Inter still requires a player to be sold. Within the midfield, Davide Frattesi remains the favorite to depart Milan, although offers have been scarce. Consequently, the gap between the two clubs remains substantial. It remains to be seen if significant developments will occur in the remaining three weeks of the transfer market.
