Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke to Sky ahead of the crucial Champions League semi-final second leg match against Barcelona.
Addressing the fitness of key striker Lautaro Martinez, Inzaghi confirmed his availability. «Yesterday he had a good training session; the feeling was positive,» Inzaghi stated. «It was just soreness, not a strain, and he completed the final session very well. He had a good muscular warm-up today. He is our captain, and it`s right that he plays tonight.»
When asked about managing the threat posed by Barcelona`s young talent, Lamine Yamal, Inzaghi emphasized the importance of a collective effort. «We will need to be very good, work together as a team, and perform just as well as we did in the first leg,» he explained. «They have very important players; we will try to limit them as much as possible.»
Concluding with a statement on his belief in the team`s chances, Inzaghi expressed strong confidence. «Very much,» he said regarding how much he believes. «We`ve had a fantastic journey so far.
