According to Stefano Impallomeni, speaking on Tmw Radio, Igor Tudor`s future at Juventus is tied to how the team concludes the season, particularly concerning their pursuit of fourth place. Impallomeni suggested that the Bianconeri had the potential to secure four or five consecutive victories, a feat they failed to achieve. He believes that the coach`s current performance is not building a strong case for a contract renewal.
The former player added that it would be challenging for the club to renew their trust in Tudor if the team only manages to limp into a Champions League spot without showing conviction. Impallomeni highlighted that Juventus is currently level with competing teams, whereas there was an expectation for them to create a significant gap in the league table. He concluded by stating that, in his view, the primary issue for the team isn`t the coach himself, but rather something else.
