The upcoming Champions League quarter-final showdown between FC Bayern and Real Madrid was a topic of discussion within the French national team during the international break, featuring a rather fierce declaration aimed at FCB star Michael Olise.
His compatriot Eduardo Camavinga playfully revealed what he had warned Bayern’s superstar: «I told my friend Olise: ‘Right now we are friends, but in two weeks, if I have to kill you, I will.'»
When further questioned about how to manage Bayern’s offense, which includes Olise and top striker Harry Kane, Camavinga responded: «We have to play as we always do. If I have to kick them, then I will kick them. It’s them or me – and I don’t want to lose.»

Should the 23-year-old (Camavinga) take the field against Munich, he would likely be challenging Bayern’s right winger Olise. Speculation that Real might be eyeing the 24-year-old (Olise) is understandable to him: «It would be very surprising if Real were not seriously considering Olise. He fits the club’s philosophy. Real doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on established old stars but rather invest in developing players who still have at least six to eight years of playing time ahead.»
Therefore, the overall package of the former Crystal Palace player is considered ‘top-tier’.
