Hjulmand Links to Juventus: Sporting Set High Price

According to reports from the Portuguese newspaper Record, Juventus is showing significant interest in acquiring Morten Hjulmand, the Danish midfielder born in 1999. Hjulmand, who previously played for Lecce for two years, is being considered by Juventus as a potential replacement for Douglas Luiz and as a means to strengthen their midfield options.

However, Juventus` potential offer may not be sufficient to convince Sporting CP. The Italian club is reportedly willing to offer 40 million euros, but this proposal is contingent on the sale of Douglas Luiz. Sporting`s stance is firm, as Hjulmand has an 80 million euro release clause, indicating that the club will not consider selling him for less than this amount.

Furthermore, as reported by A BOLA, Hjulmand is viewed as a crucial player for the Lisbon-based team (Sporting). Sporting`s management is reluctant to part ways with a player of his quality, who is also highly valued not just professionally but also personally within the club.
