Speaking on the *Stile TV* show “Salite sulla Giostra”, former Napoli defender David Giubilato shared his perspective on the team`s current state. Giubilato specifically mentioned defender Beukema, stating he “really likes him”, particularly for his potential to “integrate well with the entire defensive unit”.
Giubilato believes Napoli is conducting “an important transfer window” that aligns with their successful previous season, highlighting the “continuity” and giving “credit to the entire club”. He asserted that “Napoli is ahead of the others”, stating that “Inter has lost out with Inzaghi leaving and has to start over”.
Giubilato added that Napoli is “demonstrating they are signing important players to compete on multiple fronts, including the Champions League”. He stressed the necessity of having “20-25 players to go all the way”, all of whom must possess “the coach`s mentality”. He concluded that “the possibilities are there” for Napoli to succeed.
Regarding player retention, he noted that “if there are players at the end of their cycle, they should be sold, but if they are doing well together, you should think twice before bringing in a new player who needs to adapt”. Giubilato finished by saying “Napoli has the right mentality and good possibilities to win the Scudetto again, also thanks to Conte”.
