Germany National Team Squad: Julian Nagelsmann’s Picks for Switzerland & Ghana, and Notable Absentees

National coach Julian Nagelsmann has announced his 26-man squad for the upcoming World Cup preparatory matches against Switzerland (March 27) and Ghana (March 30).

The squad includes two debutants and six returning players. Particularly noteworthy are Bayern talents Lennart Karl and Jonas Urbig, who have been called up to the senior national team for the first time. The squad is further bolstered by players such as Pascal Groß, Kai Havertz, and Anton Stach from the English Premier League, as well as Antonio Rüdiger, Deniz Undav, and Josha Vagnoman.
