According to reports from Gazzetta, Cristiano Giuntoli`s time at Juventus has come to an end. The separation between the Turin club and the Tuscan director, which began last week, was officially concluded yesterday afternoon through a mutual agreement, as confirmed in the club`s farewell statement.
Despite successfully reducing the wage bill and securing Champions League qualification on the final day of the season against Venezia, these achievements were not enough for the former Bianconeri sporting director to remain in Turin.
However, Giuntoli is unlikely to be out of a job for long. In addition to reported interest from Italian and English clubs, Atletico Madrid has emerged as a stimulating possibility in recent hours. Giuntoli`s departure is expected to be followed by that of his two main collaborators, Pompilio and Stefanelli.
