Si conferma la permanenza di Albert Gudmundsson alla Fiorentina per la stagione futura. Fonti giornalistiche (TMW) indicano un accordo verbale raggiunto tra la Viola e il Genoa per mantenere l`attaccante islandese a Firenze.
Inizialmente la Fiorentina non aveva esercitato l`opzione di riscatto da 17 milioni per ottenere un prezzo migliore sull`operazione. L`obiettivo sembra raggiunto: i gigliati e i liguri hanno trovato l`intesa per un nuovo accordo, con il passaggio del giocatore a titolo definitivo ai viola per una cifra intorno ai 13 milioni di euro. Questo permetterà al club toscano di avere il fantasista a disposizione di Stefano Pioli per il prossimo campionato.
Si attende solo la formalizzazione dell`operazione nelle prossime ore, ma l`intesa tra le società è già stata trovata. Nell`ultima stagione, sotto la guida di Palladino, Gudmundsson ha totalizzato 33 presenze in tutte le competizioni, segnando otto reti.

Albert Gudmundsson is confirmed to be staying at Fiorentina for the upcoming season. Journalistic sources (TMW) report that a verbal agreement has been reached between the Viola and Genoa to keep the Icelandic forward in Florence.
Initially, Fiorentina had not exercised the €17 million buy-out option, seeking a better price for the operation. The objective appears to have been reached: the Gigliati and the Ligurians have found an agreement for a new deal, with the player making a permanent move to the Viola for a fee around €13 million. This arrangement ensures the Tuscan club will have the attacking midfielder available for Stefano Pioli next season.
Only the formalization of the transfer is pending in the coming hours, but the agreement between the clubs has already been found. Last season, under Palladino, Gudmundsson made 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals.
