Fabrizio Romano: “Accordo di massima tra Carlo Ancelotti e il Brasile”

According to well-known transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano, Carlo Ancelotti is set to become the new head coach of the Brazilian national team.

Romano reported on platform X that Ancelotti and the Brazilian national team have reached a “broad agreement” for the Italian manager to take charge of the Seleção ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The agreement is reportedly valid from June onwards, indicating the plan is for him to take over next summer, not after the Club World Cup.

Romano added that while formal steps are needed, Real Madrid and Ancelotti are expected to part ways “without too many problems,” suggesting a smooth transition is anticipated for the veteran coach.
