Eintracht Frankfurt Faces Fan Pyro Controversy and Misses European Football

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt has expressed its dismay following the misconduct of some of its supporters.

SGE fans ignited a significant amount of pyrotechnics before the 2-2 draw against VfB Stuttgart. The club reported that two spectators in the Nordwestkurve sustained injuries during the incident.

«This action is madness, incomprehensible, and completely unacceptable. With firecrackers and especially rockets, you accept precisely what has now happened. We are currently trying to get in touch with those affected,» stated board member Philipp Reschke in a statement.

The use of pyrotechnics and numerous rockets caused the match to be delayed by six minutes.
