Paulo Dybala, the Roma forward and former Juventus player, expressed his thoughts on the passing of Pope Francis today: “It`s very sad news for the world in general, especially for us Argentinians and for Rome. I had the opportunity and good fortune to meet him, it`s a great loss for Catholics and not only for Argentinians. I send my condolences to his family and the Vatican.”
Regarding Roma`s ambitions, Dybala added: “The league table shows us we can do it, but it`s not easy. There are many teams fighting for a Champions League spot and playing well. I try to support my teammates, we hope that the teams above us in the standings will drop some points, and that we can achieve our Champions League objective.”
