Dragusin’s Agent Discusses His Time in Italy and Future at Tottenham

`Radu

Florin Manea, the agent of Radu Dragusin, who previously played for Juventus and is now at Tottenham, recently spoke to Stile Tv about his client`s future.

Manea provided insights into Dragusin`s current situation, stating, “Radu is on vacation, but I always see him in the gym – I even tease him about it! He hasn`t fully recovered from his injury yet; he was called for celebrations, but he`s still in the recovery phase. He is expected to return to playing in August.”

Regarding Dragusin`s club future, Manea said, “I believe he will stay at Tottenham. There were some inquiries before his injury, but the club chose not to sell him, and he himself didn`t want to change teams, so the situation remains unchanged.”

He addressed transfer rumors, particularly those linking Dragusin to Inter following Cristian Chivu`s arrival, explaining, “There are many rumors, especially with Chivu coming to Inter, because we are very good friends with him. However, these are just speculations. Our focus is entirely on his recovery. The boy wants to return to playing as soon as possible and come back even stronger than before.”

Commenting on Antonio Conte, the new Napoli coach, Manea remarked, “Conte is one of the best coaches in the world. I also like Naples as a city, but saying he will play for Napoli is a big leap. Tottenham doesn`t want to let him go, and he has no intention of leaving, so for now, everything is quiet. Of course, you never know what the future holds.”

Manea also mentioned his good relationship with Napoli`s sporting director, Manna: “We have great affection for Manna because he saw Dragusin develop.” He revealed a past conversation with Napoli`s president: “I spoke with [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis before [Dragusin] went to Tottenham, but the deal was already almost finalized. However, I haven`t heard from him since,” Manea added. He speculated on a potential return to Italy: “If Tottenham were to consider a loan, then he *could* potentially come to Italy. But I am confident he will stay here next year and get more playing time.”

Reflecting on Dragusin`s playing style, Manea noted, “Radu did very well in Italy; he understands tactics well, and Italy suits his style. In England, you`re a bit more on your own; you need to be strong one-on-one. In Italy, it`s more about team play.”
