Following their collision during the Club World Cup quarter-final match, Paris Saint-Germain and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has sent a message of support to Bayern Munich forward Jamal Musiala.
Posting on his Instagram channel, Donnarumma shared a photo showing himself visibly emotional, leaving the field in tears with his hands covering his face, following the incident with the Bayern attacker.
The collision occurred when Donnarumma came off his line to challenge for a ball near the touchline. While being protected by a defender, the goalkeeper inadvertently ran into Musiala.
After the impact, Musiala remained on the ground. Medical staff called for a stretcher to carry him off the field, raising concerns about a potential serious injury.
