Gianluigi Donnarumma has joined the Italian national team squad following his recent success as a protagonist in the Champions League with PSG. Speaking to Sky directly from Coverciano, the Italy goalkeeper stated:
“I celebrated a lot after the Champions League victory, but now I am focused on the national team. We have two important matches ahead, and we need to battle hard. I spoke with Spalletti, he sent me a message, and I really thank him for it.”
“My focus is now completely on the `azzurro` jersey, and I am happy to be here. The World Cup is the number one objective, we absolutely must qualify.”
“Now, our attention is on Norway: we are working hard to win the first match right away.”
