The Serie A coaching merry-go-round continues. Following reports of Massimiliano Allegri`s imminent move to the Milan bench, Napoli`s future is also taking shape. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking on Sky, Antonio Conte has made his decision: he will remain with the Partenopei.
Di Marzio stated:
“Conte has essentially decided to stay at Napoli. We are awaiting the final step, the communication to De Laurentiis and Manna, but at the moment it seems certain. This is also why Allegri, who had initially prioritized Napoli, is now finalizing terms with Milan directors. From the Napoli side, there are even stronger indications that Antonio Conte will continue. It remains to be seen if an official statement or just a signal will arrive, given that Conte already has a contract, but the path is clearly set.”
