Juventus is intensifying its efforts to sign forward Jonathan David, who is set to become a free agent from Lille. The Bianconeri club has reportedly reached a preliminary agreement on a five-year contract, which includes a net salary of €6 million per season plus up to €2 million in performance-related bonuses.
However, a significant obstacle remains concerning the signing bonus; the Canadian striker`s representatives are reportedly demanding €12 million for the player, in addition to €10 million in agent commissions.
Separately, Igor Tudor, who is widely expected to be appointed as the new Juventus head coach, has reportedly suggested another potential reinforcement: defender Leonardo Balerdi. Tudor previously coached Balerdi during his tenure at Marseille.
