Women`s football is set to welcome the Coppa Italia Primavera. From May 11th to June 8th, eight teams will compete for the inaugural trophy: Juventus, Inter, Roma, Sassuolo, Fiorentina, Parma, Sampdoria, and Verona are the participating teams. The competition was approved by the FIGC council based on a proposal from the Women`s Serie A Division. The Primavera 1 Women`s Championship recently concluded with Juventus crowned champions after defeating Inter 2-0 in the final at Viola Park.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to single-leg semifinals. The final, scheduled for Sunday, June 8th, will also be a single match.
